Wolf Gal, part two..

A few days ago, I showed three wolf-themed gals laid out for an assignment. Well, this is a few generations down the road. Still not quite the finished version, but a lot closer. You see the wolfish elements have been dropped. And now the chick is really "da bomb".

Slip-sliding into crime....

One of the slickest criminal minds [and bodies] in town, Lady Squiggles....victim of an industrial accident, the lady's body now has the consistency of petroleum jelly...no WONDER she slid into the greasy mire of crime...

Have you ever.....

Have you ever captured something exactly the way you wanted it in layout....but then could NOT get it right in the finished version? This was a layout for a title page for an expanded portfolio idea I had. I believe I posted the finished versions of all of these thingies in a previous post. Anyway, little things like this frustrate me....I'm sure others have this problem too.....I think...mebbe.....

Trumpets the elephants......

Several years back, I would occasionally be called upon by a gentleman to work up designs for murals that he would then project up on a wall [gyms, rec rooms, etc], trace off and finish by painting. Here is my favorite one. It was to take up an entire inside wall of a local high school gym. As I understand it, the school decided they couldn't afford to pay for the full piece, so a compromise was reached. The gentleman took the background out, pushed the elephants closer together and just had a banner over them with the high school name on it. Oh well...
